Opus Hewson is a band built on contrast.
Blending the emotional depth of classical music with the raw honesty of modern songwriting, their sound moves between stillness and intensity; between light and noise. Drawing inspiration from composers like Bach, Vivaldi, Chopin, and Ravel, the band reimagines timeless musical ideas through a contemporary lens, shaping them into cinematic rock and intimate ballads.
Each song feels like a chapter.
A quiet moment in nature. A memory that won’t sit still. A question about who we are, and why we sometimes get it so wrong.
Opus Hewson doesn’t try to be loud for the sake of it.
Instead, they focus on something more difficult: being honest.
Because sometimes the quietest moments say the most.

Coming April 17, 2026 - Between Light and Noise - Opus Hewson
Between Light and Noise is the debut album by Opus Hewson - a cinematic rock record that reimagines classical masterpieces as modern songs with emotional depth and narrative clarity.
Each track is inspired by a specific work from composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Frédéric Chopin, Maurice Ravel, Edvard Grieg, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Camille Saint-Saëns, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and George Friedrich Händel. Rather than adapting these works directly, the album translates their emotional core into contemporary songwriting, blending elements of soft rock, baroque pop, and symphonic rock.
The album explores the human experience through contrast: calm and chaos, memory and perception, wisdom and imperfection, connection and isolation. From the quiet introspection of "Where the wild things trust me" to the powerful closing statement "You’ve used up all your Patience", the album unfolds as a journey - both inward and outward.
Between Light and Noise is not just a collection of songs, but a cohesive exploration of what it means to be human in a world that is constantly shifting between stillness and intensity.

Inspired by Johann Sebastian Bach - “Air” from Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major (BWV 1068)
A calm and atmospheric song about finding peace in nature and experiencing a rare, unspoken trust between humans and the wild. Through gentle imagery and intimate sound, the track explores what it means to slow down and reconnect with a world that does not demand anything in return.
Watch:
April 17, 2026 - The magic we forgot - Opus Hewson - Baroque Pop
Inspired by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky - “The Nutcracker Suite” (Op. 71a)
This nostalgic and reflective song explores the loss of wonder that often comes with adulthood. It suggests that magic never truly disappears - we simply stop noticing it. With a warm and slightly dreamlike tone, it invites the listener to rediscover a sense of childlike imagination.
April 17, 2026 - The way you remember it - Opus Hewson - Soft Rock Ballade
Inspired by Edvard Grieg - “Morning Mood” from Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 (Op. 46)
A quiet, introspective piece about memory and perception. The song reflects on how people reshape past events in their own minds, sometimes believing their altered version completely. It raises the question of whether memory protects us - or distances us from truth.
April 17, 2026 - Between the rain and the sun - Opus Hewson - Orchestral Pop
Inspired by Camille Saint-Saëns - “Fossils” from The Carnival of the Animals (1886)
Using the image of standing exactly between rain and sunshine, this song becomes a metaphor for life itself. It captures the idea that joy and sorrow, light and darkness, are always present at the same time - and that meaning is found in the balance between them.
April 17, 2026 - Like no time at all - Opus Hewson - Baroque Pop
Inspired by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - “Le nozze di Figaro” (1786)
A warm and human story about reconnecting with an old friend after many years. Despite the passing of time, the bond remains unchanged. The song celebrates friendship, memory, and the strange way time can disappear in a single moment.
April 17, 2026 - The smartest fool on earth - Opus Hewson - Soft Rock Ballade
Inspired by Frédéric Chopin - Nocturne No. 20 in C-sharp minor (Op. posth.)
A reflective and melancholic observation of humanity’s contradictions. The song explores how human beings are capable of incredible intelligence, yet often act in self-destructive or irrational ways. It is not judgmental, but quietly questioning and deeply human.
April 17, 2026 - The land of the dissatisfied - Opus Hewson - Baroque Rock
Inspired by Antonio Vivaldi - “Summer” from The Four Seasons (RV 315)
A satirical and energetic song about a world where nothing is ever good enough. Even in moments of comfort or beauty, people continue to complain. The track highlights the tension between abundance and dissatisfaction, using humor and sharp observation.
April 17, 2026 - Always Right - Opus Hewson - Rock
Inspired by Maurice Ravel - “Boléro” (1928)
Driven by repetition and intensity, this song portrays a person who is convinced he is always right and refuses to listen to others. It explores how certainty can isolate and how repetition of thought can become a trap rather than a strength.
April 17, 2026 - Under the same moon - Opus Hewson - Soft Baroque Rock Ballade
Inspired by Ludwig van Beethoven - Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp minor (“Moonlight Sonata”, Op. 27 No. 2)
A deeply personal and emotional song about loss, memory, and understanding. It reflects on the relationship between a son and his mother, moving from childhood tension to adult recognition of love. The moon becomes a symbol of connection beyond time.
April 17, 2026 - You’ve used up all your patience - Opus Hewson - Symphonic Rock
Inspired by George Friedrich Händel - “Music for the Royal Fireworks” (HWV 351)
A powerful and reflective closing track about a person whose lifelong impatience once drove success, but later becomes a limitation. The song explores how strengths can evolve into weaknesses, and how growth sometimes requires slowing down rather than pushing forward.
